Description
My clients bring in a range of issues and have varying ideas of what they would like to change about themselves and/or their lives — but they all have one thing in common, and that is motivation for change. Therapy can, and should, be a place for self-reflection and self-improvement and I am here to support that process. While a lot of my experience has been with children/adolescents and mood disorders, I approach every client with an open mind and heart, and strive to always create a safe and inviting space.
I believe in “meeting the client where they are”. This means I don’t only work from a single theoretical standpoint, but rather formulate a treatment plan with the client that is based on their history and needs. I am trained in Motivational Interviewing, Seeking Safety, Interpersonal Therapy, and Trauma-Focused CBT.
The hardest step is often the first step, but I encourage you to reach out today! I am excited to go on this journey with you.
